Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the T.R.A.C.E. Method platform ("Service"), operated by Trace Method LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

T.R.A.C.E. Method provides an AI-powered interview coaching platform that uses our proprietary T.R.A.C.E. Method™ (Translate, Root Cause, Action, Confirm, Enhance) to help professionals prepare for complex interviews. The Service includes voice-based practice interviews, AI coaching, performance analytics, training modules, and related features.

3. Intellectual Property & Proprietary Rights

This section is critically important. Please read carefully.

3.1 T.R.A.C.E. Method™ Methodology

The T.R.A.C.E. Method™ — including but not limited to the name "T.R.A.C.E.," the acronym structure (Translate, Root Cause, Action, Confirm, Enhance), the coaching framework, scoring rubrics, training curriculum, and all associated materials — is the exclusive intellectual property of Trace Method LLC. T.R.A.C.E. Method™ is a trademark of Trace Method LLC.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the T.R.A.C.E. Method™
• Use the T.R.A.C.E. Method™ name, acronym, or framework in any competing product, service, or educational material
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying algorithms, scoring logic, AI prompts, or coaching processes
• Represent T.R.A.C.E. Method™ or any substantially similar framework as your own original work
• Use T.R.A.C.E. Method™ materials for commercial training, consulting, or coaching without express written permission

3.2 Software & Content

All software, source code, user interface designs, graphics, text, audio, AI-generated content, training materials, question banks, and other content available through the Service are owned by or licensed to Trace Method LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

3.3 Coach Trace™

The "Coach Trace" AI coaching persona — including its name, personality, dialogue style, voice characteristics, and behavioral patterns — is a proprietary creation of Trace Method LLC.

3.4 Trade Secrets

The AI prompts, grading algorithms, scoring rubrics, question generation logic, adaptive difficulty systems, and coaching conversation flows constitute trade secrets of Trace Method LLC. Any unauthorized access, extraction, or disclosure of these trade secrets is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

4. User Accounts & Subscriptions

You must provide accurate registration information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Subscription terms, pricing, and refund policies are as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or sublicense your account access
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Attempt to extract or record AI coaching conversations for redistribution
• Interfere with the Service's security or infrastructure
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. User Content

You retain ownership of your interview responses and practice answers. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content for the purpose of providing AI coaching, generating feedback, and improving the Service. We will not sell your interview responses to third parties.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate coaching feedback, practice questions, and performance assessments. AI-generated content is provided for educational and practice purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated responses for any specific interview or employment situation. The Service does not guarantee employment outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRACE METHOD LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Limitation of Liability), and 10 (Governing Law) survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Baltimore, Maryland.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
